And check!

Here's the update on my resolutions:

1. Pay off the credit card and my Penn State loans.

So my first resolution is already half done ... or will be on February 2 when I can pay my credit card bill off. Now, I have to get my Penn State loans. I'm planning on that for March.

2. Learn conversational German

I'm signing up for a course in February I think.

3. Sell 150 books during my two mini book tours.

Gotta wait until April for the first news on this one. I may be adding a date in Philly, so we'll see.

4. Find a publisher for my second book.

I'm working on this crazy hard. I'm going to start sending queries this week as I've done all the contests for this month already.

5. Make new and fantastic memories. Be happy.

I've got this down. :) Thank you dear friends for being a part of that.

6. Exercise 3 times a week consistently and eat healthier.

Eating healthier, ok. I just started exercising. Today I've got to do a little work at home to make it 3 times a week.

7. Visit at least two other countries from those in which I reside.

Going to Venice in February for V-day and I'll be in Prague in July. Italy and Czech Republic. I'm really hoping to get to either Turkey, Thailand or Bali in November.

8. Finish the novel.

I wrote a good 10 pages in the last two weeks. I'm thinking that once the dissertation is done, I can really dedicate myself to it.

9. Graduate with my PhD.
I'm on the move. I'm at page 77. This weekend I'm trying to get to 90. 100 would be the ideal. In 2 weeks, I think I can get to 140 and then I've got to write the conclusion. I'm hoping for a shorter dissertation. Just 150-170 pages, before appendices and works cited and all that jazz. I've got to be down by February 14. A love letter to myself, I suppose.

10. Talk to friends at least once a week on the phone, and make sure to invite people over at least once a week.

Maybe I need to give myself some more resolutions. :)
